Mojar Construction was founded by Engr. Ma. Rosario Arlene Mojares Chanco, Graduate of the University of Santo Tomas In BS Civil Engineering and the sole proprietor of the company. It was licensed by the then named Philippine Licensing Board for Contractors (now, Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board) on April 4, 1990 under the license number 12930.

           The company started small. Its first project was a simple road construction with the Quezon City government being its first client. After completing a couple more projects and establishing abusiness relationship with her first client, the owner and general manager, Arlene M. Chanco, sought out other clients to make her company more competitive with other contractors. Project after project was taken on and the business grew. Projects such as building construction, more road works, drainage and sewage works, bridges, and many others were taken on through the years.

           Today, Mojar Construction is a P.C.A.B. A-ranking contractor dealing with both vertical and horizontal construction projects. Clients now include the Quezon City Government, Maynilad Water Services, National Housing Authority, Bulacan Provincial Government, DPWH-Bulacan and DPWH-Quezon City.
